IT Park at Saneta, Mohali
|
 
About 44 acres of land in Village Saneta in district Mohali is earmarked
by the Government of Punjab for the development of IT/ITeS Park in Saneta. The Park
is situated at a distance of 10 km. from Chandigarh–Mohali International Airport
and 10 km from Mohali City. The IT Park will comprise of IT/ITeS Knowledge centre,
Entrepreneur Development Centre (EDC) along with other commercial components. The
total contiguous land of 44 acres is already in the process of acquisition and will
be developed in phased manner.
Saneta at a Glance
Saneta is located in district Mohali with close proximity to Chandigarh–Mohali
International Airport. Saneta offers an excellent investment destination because
of its locational advantage and proximity to capital of Punjab i.e. Chandigarh and
its excellent transportation connectivity to rest of Punjab
- Hub of education with presence of prominent institutes like Panjab University, PEC
University of Technology, NIPER etc.
- Proposed development of Knowledge City comprising of prominent institutes such as
ISB, Institute of Nanoscience and Technology, IISER, NABI** etc
- Roopnagar/ Greater Mohali a well developed industrial belt with home to MNCs and
Indian corporate including DCM, Mazda, ICI Paints, Ranbaxy, Philips etc.
- Presence of Quarkcity IT SEZ and ELTOP IT Park in Mohali and Rajiv Gandhi Technology
