 
Doaba IT Park - India’s next IT Hub
An integrated business Park/ SEZ at Jalandhar-Kapurthala is proposed to be developed
on land measuring 46.8 acres. The SEZ is situated at a distance of 32 km. from Jalandhar
and the region is well connected to other parts of the country through national
highway (NH1), rail and an international airport at Amritsar (70 km). Spread over
an area of 50 acres, the IT SEZ will comprise of IT/ITeS Knowledge centre, Entrepreneur
Development Centre (EDC) along with other commercial components.

The region is situated about 9 km from the NH 1 and 22 km from Jalandhar
(JDA) limits. Jalandhar is fast emerging as an education hub with number of renowned
institutions such as Punjab Technical University (PTU), Lovely Professional University
(LPU), National Institute Technology (NIT) and Pushpa Gujaral Science City etc are
key factors in determining the success of the project
